Microsoft pushing for share of Google Adwords

Posted on Tuesday 4 April 2006

Microsoft’s agreement with Overture / Yahoo Search Marketing expires in June this year and is activly pursueing to take a piece of the advertising market from Google.

MSN’s new system gives advertisers more control over the content and the visibility of their advertisments than Google Adwords program does at present enabling better ROI from advertising. The system was unveiled in September last year in Singapore amid rave reviews from Search Engine professionals and advertisers alike.

Microsoft is looking to release their “Adcenter” around March the 16th this year. The software incorporates a number of extra features making the new system unique, you can import data from Google Adwords and Overture / Yahoo Search Marketing programs enabling new account setups to be done quickly and easy based on past data. Along with tracking systems this provides the advertiser with a large amount of firepower in getting their advertisments into the void.
